About

I've been here in Austin since 2007. I love to bike, run, swim, canoe, eat tacos, go to museums, take in live music, and enjoy the outdoors in general. Most of all, I love doing all that with my husband, daughter, and dog whenever possible, which in Austin, is a lot!

My love for dogs and the outdoors have guided me to volunteer at various locations around town. At APA! (Austin Pets Alive!), I've worked with the behavior team to provide special needs dogs with extra training and attention. Through Keep Austin Beautiful, my family and I contribute by picking up litter from Lady Bird Lake while on our canoe. My daughter and I help to plant native plants around Pease Park with Pease Corps. Austin truly offers numerous ways to enjoy the outdoors and make a positive impact on the community.
